Plans and limits

Noxdragon Academic has a free plan to get you started and paid plans for those who need more room, more AI, or more capacity. The plan is shared across the whole suite: one subscription covers EON, Theca, Imagine, and SimuLab.

What types of limits exist

Plan limits are divided into these categories, shared across all apps:

  • Cards: the total number of text and diagram cards you can have in EON.
  • Storage: the space available for books and documents in your Theca library.
  • Presentations: the number of presentations you can keep in Imagine.
  • Practice problems: the number of problems you can have in SimuLab.
  • AI tokens: the balance for all AI features across the suite.

How the app warns you before you exceed a limit

When an action would take your usage over the plan limit, the app shows a warning before creating it. You can choose to upgrade your plan right then or cancel the action. That way you don't lose content or run into unexpected errors.

What happens if you downgrade

If you switch to a plan with lower limits and you already have more content than the new plan allows:

  • Your content is not deleted right away.
  • There's a grace period during which you keep full access.
  • When the grace period ends, the content over the limit becomes read-only: you can view it and export it, but you can't add more.
  • If you don't reduce your usage or upgrade within the stated deadline, the excess is deleted.

Changing your plan

You can change your plan at any time from the Subscription section of the Account app. If you upgrade, the change is immediate and you only pay the difference for the remaining time in the period. If you downgrade, the change takes effect at the end of your billing period.

Frequently asked questions

Are limits shared across all apps? Yes. A storage limit, for example, counts the total space you use in Theca, regardless of how many books you have.

Can I get more EON cards by increasing my Imagine limit? No. Each type of limit corresponds to its own category. Quotas can't be transferred between categories.

What happens to my data if I cancel my paid plan? When you cancel, your plan switches to Free at the end of the paid period. Your content is not deleted at that point; it's just subject to the free plan's limits.
