Plans and limits in Imagine

Your Academic plan applies to all apps on the platform — EON, Theca, Imagine, and SimuLab — with a single subscription. You can see the details and pricing at Academic plans and limits.

Presentation limit

Depending on your plan, you can have a set number of active presentations. When you get close to the limit, Imagine warns you before you try to create a new one.

If you reach the cap, a notice appears with the message Plan limit reached and Imagine does not create the presentation. To continue, you can delete presentations you no longer need or switch to a plan with greater capacity.

AI usage limit

Some Imagine features, such as AI diagram generation, consume AI tokens. The available tokens depend on your plan and are shared with the other Academic apps.

When tokens run out, AI features are temporarily unavailable until the counter renews. The app tells you when that limit has been reached.

Pre-limit warnings

Imagine checks whether you have capacity before creating a new presentation. If you are about to exceed the limit, it tells you at that point so you can make a decision before any change is made.

What happens when you downgrade

If you reduce your plan and you have more presentations than the new plan allows, your existing presentations remain available, but you will not be able to create new ones until you are below the limit.

Frequently asked questions

Is the AI limit shared between Imagine and the other apps? Yes. AI tokens are shared across all Academic apps: EON, Theca, Imagine, and SimuLab.

Can I recover a presentation I deleted to free up space? Deleted presentations cannot be recovered. Before deleting, export the .imgin file if you want to keep a copy.

How do I know how many presentations I have left? When you are close to the limit, Imagine will let you know when you try to create a new presentation.
