Sync and offline mode in Imagine

Your presentations are stored in your NoxDragon account, which means you can access them from any device. The canvas also works when you have no internet connection.

How sync works

Every change you make in the editor is saved locally right away. Imagine then syncs it to your account in the background. You do not need to press any button to save.

When you reopen the app after some time, Imagine fetches the latest changes from your account before showing you the content.

The status indicator

In the bottom-right corner of the editor, an indicator shows the current sync status:

• Saving... — a change is being sent to the server.
• Saved — all changes are synced.
• Pending changes — there are local changes that have not been sent yet.
• Sync failed — there was a problem saving; Imagine will retry automatically.
• Offline — there is no internet connection at the moment.

Working offline

If you lose your connection while editing, the canvas keeps working normally. You can keep drawing, adding elements, and editing your presentation. Changes accumulate locally and sync as soon as you are back online.

Do not sign out of the browser while you have pending changes. If you do before they sync, those changes may be lost.

Conflicts between devices

If you edit the same presentation from two devices at the same time, Imagine resolves conflicts automatically when syncing. In most cases, changes from both devices are preserved. You do not need to do anything.

Frequently asked questions

Are my presentations available on all my devices? Yes, as long as you are signed in with the same NoxDragon account.

What happens if I close the browser with pending changes? Imagine saves changes locally before closing. If the browser has time to sync them, they will be in your account. If not, they will appear as pending the next time you open the app with a connection.

Can I export a presentation while offline? Export requires a connection to process the file on the server. Make sure you have internet access when you export.
