Sharing a canvas

Updated on August 5, 2026

Imagine lets you generate a link so others can view your canvas without needing an account. You decide whether the link is public or protected with a password.

Generating a link

  1. Open the presentation you want to share.
  2. Click Share in the toolbar.
  3. In the panel that opens, enable Public (anyone with the link can view) if you want anyone with the link to have access.
  4. Optionally, type a password in the Password (optional) field to add an extra layer of protection.
  5. Click Generate link.
  6. Copy the link with Copy link and share it.

What is public and what is not

When you share a presentation, the link gives access only to that presentation in read-only mode. Your other presentations, your account, and your personal data are not visible to anyone who opens the link.

If the Public option is off and you have a password set, only people who know the password can view the presentation when they open the link.

Stopping sharing

To revoke access, open the Share panel again and click Revoke. The link stops working immediately; anyone who tries to open it will see that the presentation is no longer available.

Only one active link can exist per presentation. If you generate a new one, the previous one stops working.

Frequently asked questions

Who can view the shared presentation? Anyone who has the link, if the Public option is enabled. If it is disabled, they also need to know the password.

Does the person opening the link need a NoxDragon account? No. The public viewer does not require an account or sign-in.

Can I change the password after generating the link? Revoke the current link and generate a new one with the password you want.

Is anyone notified when they open my presentation? While the presentation is open, the Share button in the toolbar shows in real time how many people are viewing it.

Next step

  • Public viewer — what someone sees when they open your link and how they navigate the presentation.
  • Exporting — download the presentation as an image, PDF, or video.
  • Plans and limits — check whether your plan has limits on the number of presentations.
