SimuLab interface tour
Updated on August 5, 2026
SimuLab has four main screens. Learning them takes less than five minutes and saves you searching later.
My problems — your library
When you open simulab.noxdragon.com you land on My problems. This is your personal library: a table with every problem you have created or cloned.
The left side shows the Collections tree: folders you can create and organize as you like. Selecting a collection filters the table to that folder's contents. On the right is the table with columns for Status, Title, Difficulty, Type and Source.
Above the table is the toolbar with the main actions:
- Create problem — opens the creation form.
- Generate collection — the AI designs the structure of a collection and generates the problems.
- Extract from book — extracts practice exercises from your Theca books page by page.
- Import — imports a collection from a
.smlbfile. - Filters and sort control — filter by difficulty or status and sort the results.
Right-click a collection to see options like rename, publish to the Market or export to
.smlb.
Create problem
Click Create problem in the navigation bar or in the My problems toolbar. The screen shows two modes:
- With AI — fill in the topic, choose sources (AI, your books or the web), set the difficulty and answer type, then click Generate problem.
- Manual — write the title, statement, answer options and details directly.
While the AI works, the screen shows progress phase by phase. When it finishes, the Open problem button appears.
The solving screen
Opening a problem takes you to the solving screen. It has three zones:
- Left panel — shows the Statement and, in a separate tab, the Simulation if the problem includes one.
- Upper right panel — the Answer field where you enter your solution and the Submit button.
- Lower right panel — after submitting, the Feedback appears with the correction and the Sources.
The Hints tab in the right panel shows a concept map to guide you if you get stuck. The Submissions tab keeps a history of your previous attempts.
Market
The Market is accessible from the navigation bar. Here you find collections published by other users. You can search by name, user or tag, view sample problems from each collection and clone it to your account with Clone to my account.
The My publications tab lets you manage the collections you have shared.
