EON interface tour

EON has a small number of main screens. Understanding them in five minutes will save you confusion later.

Home screen — Deck Packs

When you open the app you land on the Deck Packs view. Here you see all your Deck Packs, can create a new one with New Deck Pack, and open any of them with a click.

The left sidebar has the main shortcuts:

  • Deck Packs — return to the home screen.
  • Calendar — open the study calendar.
  • Market — open the deck market.
  • Review Preferences — adjust your account-level review settings.
  • Stats — view your activity and learning metrics.

Due today

When you open a Deck Pack, the sidebar shows Due today with the count of cards ready to review. Clicking that section shows a breakdown by deck and lets you start a review session right away.

Deck Pack view — your decks

When you open a Deck Pack, the left sidebar lists all its decks. From here you can:

  • Select a deck to view and edit its cards.
  • Create new decks or subdecks.
  • See how many cards are due in each deck.
  • Open the Deck Pack's Trash.

Deck view

Opening a specific deck shows all its cards. From here you can create cards with New Card or New Diagram Card, edit them, move them, or delete them.

Calendar

The Calendar screen shows your study events (exams, sessions, rest days) and the projected workload. Create events with Create New Event and choose a type: exam, study session, or rest day.

Stats

Stats shows learning metrics: reviewed cards, retention rate, study streak, an activity heatmap for the past twelve months, and the progress of each Deck Pack.

Market

The Market collects Deck Packs published by the community. You can search by name, author, or tag, preview the content, and clone a pack to your account with Clone to my account.

Trash

Each Deck Pack has a Trash where deleted decks and cards go. You can restore them while they are there or delete them permanently.

Switching themes and accessing help

The user icon in the top-right corner opens the app menu. From that menu you can:

  • Change the interface language (Language).
  • Toggle between light and dark mode — the buttons Switch to light mode and Switch to dark mode appear depending on the active theme.
  • Open your account Review Preferences.
  • Log out.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get back to the home screen from inside a Deck Pack? Click Deck Packs in the sidebar, or use the back button that appears in the header when you are inside a Deck Pack.

Where do I find the keyboard shortcuts? In the Shortcuts button in the top header, available in the deck view.

Are the stats global or per Deck Pack? You can view them all together or filter by Deck Pack from the Stats screen.
