Review sessions and spaced repetition

The heart of EON is the review session: one card at a time, no distractions.

How to review

1. Open Due today or hit Start Review on a deck.
2. Read the question and try to answer from memory.
3. Reveal the answer with the space bar.
4. Mark how it went: Forgot, Hard, Good, or Easy (or use keys 1-4).

What EON does with your answer

EON uses a modern spaced repetition algorithm (FSRS) that estimates when you'll forget each card. Mark "Easy" and the card comes back in more days; mark "Forgot" and it returns right away. Every review tunes the model to your real memory.

Study modes

• Long term: for keeping knowledge permanently.
• Upcoming exam: concentrates reviews before the date you set.
