Getting started with SimuLab

Reading and reviewing isn't enough: to really learn a topic you have to practise. SimuLab generates problems tailored to you, walks with you while you solve them, and grades with explanations.
The two sections
- Problems is your own space: the problems you created, organised into collections.
- Market is what other people published: you can browse collections and clone them to your account.
Your first problem
- Open SimuLab and click Generate problem with AI.
- Type the topic under What topic?, for example "projectile motion with air resistance".
- Leave the sources as they are and click Generate problem.
- When it finishes, open it: you'll see the statement on the left and, when the problem calls for it, an animated scene on the right.
- Answer and click Submit. You'll get feedback on what was right and what's missing.
When you get stuck
Every problem has a Hints tab. It doesn't give you the answer: it shows a map of the concepts you need to get there yourself.
AI mode
The AI mode switch in the header turns everything that uses artificial intelligence on and off. With it off you can still create problems by hand and solve the ones you already have.
