Exporting a Deck Pack

Updated on August 5, 2026

Exporting a Deck Pack generates a .eon file that packages all its decks, cards, and images. You can share it with someone else or save it as a personal backup.

How to export

  1. Open eon.noxdragon.com and sign in.
  2. In the Deck Pack list, open the context menu on the one you want to export.
  3. Choose Export Deck Pack.
  4. In the Export Deck Pack modal you will see the pack name and a checkbox.
  5. Decide whether to include review history (see the next section).
  6. Click Export. The .eon file will download automatically.

Including or excluding review history

The Include review history checkbox adds your past study session dates and durations to the file.

  • Include it if you are making a personal backup: when you import that file into another device or account of yours, EON will resume the review schedule from where you left off.
  • Leave it out if you are sharing the pack with someone else. The history is yours and is not useful to the recipient; besides, when imported, their cards will start as new anyway since the history does not belong to them.

Exporting with history may take a bit longer, as the system collects all review records. The sync indicator shows the progress.

Frequently asked questions

Can I export a single deck instead of a full Deck Pack? The .eon export works at the Deck Pack level. If you only want to share a subset of cards, consider CSV or YAML format for that specific case.

Does the exported file include images from my diagram cards? Yes, all images are bundled inside the .eon file.

What if the export fails? The app shows an error message. Make sure you have an active connection and try again. If the problem persists, force a sync from preferences before exporting.

Can I export a pack I cloned from the Market? Yes. A cloned pack belongs to you and can be exported like any other.

Next step

  • Importing a .eon file — how to load the file you just exported into another account.
  • Publishing to the Market — if you want to share your pack with the whole community instead of sharing the file.
  • Sync and offline — how EON keeps your data up to date across devices.
